Bilateral Breast Augmentation
This is a case of a 33-year-old healthy young female who desired breast augmentation. She asked to be made as large as possible. We discussed safety and longevity of result based on the correct size for her body. Measurements were taken and the patient was booked for the operating room under general anesthesia. We put in 2 high-profile smooth round cohesive silicone gel implants by Sientra®. Inframmary incisions were chosen for each side.
She had a discrepancy in her anterior chest wall and therefore required slightly different sized implants between the left and right breast. This was chosen and evaluated while she was on the operating table. A gel implant of 385 cc was put on the left and one of 350 cc was placed in the right breast pocket. The patient was extremely happy with her results and pleased with her symmetry and size.
