LABIAPLASTY
This is the case of a 58-year-old female who desired a tucked-in appearance of her vaginal labia. She had expressed her longtime dislike of the appearance of the extended labia and how they made her feel. She also stated they would make intercourse uncomfortable as well as wearing certain garments.
After examination, we booked her for surgery. Surgery was performed right in our private operating room facility. Although some people would rather have general anesthesia or some sedation, the procedure was accomplished under local anesthetic as to the patient’s preference. The patient stated postoperatively that her confidence in the way she feels and looks was significantly improved.
